
About Mr Morgan
Since gaining membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1992, Mr George Morgan has concentrated his medical skills by sub-specialising in various fields of obstetrics and gynaecology. Mr Morgan is a fellow at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
As well as being a consultant practising in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, he is a tutor and lecturer sharing his formidable knowledge and expertise at national and international levels.


Specialist training
Mr Morgan undertook his specialist training in his chosen field of women’s health in the Mid-Trent region. During this time Mr Morgan worked at Nottingham Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital. Both are renowned centres of excellence in patient care, now better known as Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Today Mr Morgan is a consultant gynaecologist at Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. His private practice is at BMI The Park Hospital in Nottingham, Nottingham Road Clinic in Mansfield and Nottingham Woodthorpe Hospital.
He is a member of a number of professional bodies, including the British and European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, where he is also a tutor. He has built up a reputation for his teaching and lectures in laparoscopic surgical training and obstetric emergency. Outside medicine, Mr Morgan holds the rank of Major in the Territorial Army.
