Mr Morgan is a former tutor at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology and a co-organiser and trainer of the British Arms Forces course in “Emergency Obstetrics and Gynaecology for Military Surgeons.” The module is held twice yearly in Birmingham, where Mr Morgan has also taught the “War Surgery” course. He has undertaken similar courses for the NATO Reserve Forces in Latvia and Belgium, and has lectured and ran courses at Teaching Hospitals in Greece, Sudan and Ghana.

Part of the voluntary work undertaken by Mr Morgan reflects his keen interest in reducing maternal mortality, especially in developing countries. To that end he is a member of The Ghana Doctors and Dentists Association (GDDA) based in the UK but carry out Healthcare activities in Ghana. Mr Morgan's role at the GDDA is directly related to supporting reduction of maternal mortality.
